Tumblehome is a fine example of the Hood/Little Harbor 51 Series, boasting many unique and compelling features. The pilothouse design provides owner and guests’ protection from the elements, with unrestricted views in all directions. The cockpit is also uniquely designed to lead all sail controls to the helm for unmatched short-handed capability – seldom found on other aft-cockpit designs. And her rare shallow draft of only 5’, combined with her proven Hood-designed low-wetted surface hull, hydrodynamic centerboard with balanced spade retractable rudder and powerful sail plan, provide exceptional performance and access to more diverse shallow cruising grounds. Lastly, the deck is designed for minimal maintenance, and the walk-in engine room makes for easier mechanical work. Now with only her Thirdowner, Tumblehome has been consistently maintained to a high standard and has completed many equipment upgrades and replacements as noted herein.
