2000 Sea Ray 38 Our Way

Our Way is a well-built Sea Ray 380 Aft Cabin powered by twin Caterpillar 3126 diesel engines (~2,000 hours) and a Westerbeke 8kW generator. She offers two private staterooms, two heads with Vacuflush toilets, a fully equipped galley with electric cooktop and microwave, washer/dryer combo, three-zone Cruisair air conditioning, Garmin GPS/chartplotter, Raymarine autopilot, AIS, and a full Bimini with enclosure on the flybridge.

Recent documented service (receipts available):

• June 2023 — $22,360 comprehensive refit by Pontchartrain Yacht Works including: props repitched, new starboard alternator, complete battery system overhaul, new AC pump, generator fuel system rebuild and full service, new hot water heater element, bonding wire replacement, wiring cleanup (wire nuts removed throughout), new anodes (hull, shafts, engines, aftercoolers, transmissions), new oil change pump, discharge pump rebuild, blower module, sea strainer service, AIS installed, horn repaired, and more.
• August 2025 — New ProMariner 12/30 digital battery charger installed; new Dometic bilge pump trigger module; wiring connectors replaced.
• October 2025 — All 5 batteries replaced (4x DEKA 31-series + 1x DEKA 24-series generator bank).
