FUEL SYSTEM, SEA CHEST & SEA WATER SYSTEMS, BILGE SYSTEM
FUEL:
7,000 gallons of integral fuel tanks with an1800 gallon/day tank that runs all machinery onboard.
AlgaeXsystemusedfor fuel transfer and can polish any tank on the vessel.
The port and starboard wing tanks are used to introduce new fuelwhichis then transferred to the day tank through the AlgaeX systeminsuringonly clean fuel for the machinery.Condensation ports are available for every tank on the vesselandthetank levels can be manually dipped oreasilyread by the Stainless Steel Pressure Transducers mounted externally on every tank. These are fed into the vessel monitoring system and can be read on any of the many touchscreen computers onboard.
SEA CHEST ANDSEA WATERSYSTEMS:
There are four(4) oversized sea chests built into the engine room compartment.4"pipe with a 1"wall thicknesswithonly a 5"length allows for cleaning, painting, and inspection from the outside of the vessel.Attached to the 3/4"flange is aheavy dutystudlock bronze ball valve so the topside plumbing can be maintained while in the water.Valves are installed on every sea chest to allow fresh waterflushingor air pressure back flushing.
BILGE SYSTEM:
The bilges are protected by two different systems.Thelargesystem is dualAC poweredsump pumps with 1-1/2"outlets.She has them in each water-tight compartment. In additionisa small DC pump system to keep the bilges dry.Bilge sensors are in every compartment and tied to a central alarm system.
BLACK & GRAY WATER SYSTEMS:
Black water system:1000 gallons total.Gray water system:150 gallonsump in the lowest portion of the boat.Gray water can be routed to the black water pump for storage or automatic discharge overboard. The gray and black water pumps are controlled by a custom PLC that can easily change its level triggers.Thisis useful in heavy weather to keep minimum fluids onboard and avoid hydraulic action from the extreme motion of the boat.
Hull and Steering
STRUCTURE
Hull material:ASTM A-36 Mild Steel (3/8"bottom, 5/16"hull sides, 1/4"bulwarks and saloon sides.
Pilot House & Flybridge:Aluminum 5086-h116
Keel:Steel I-Beam, 110lbs/foot
Water Tight compartments:four(4) each
Sonar Tube:10"steel
CHILLED WATER & AC SYSTEMS,FRESH WATERSYSTEM
CHILLED WATER & AC SYSTEMS:
One (1) 1800 gallons per day Sea Recovery Aqua Whisper with commercial-sized filters.
One (1) Toyotomi dieselhotwater heater for an endless supply of hot water
Reverse osmosis drinking water filter in the galley
Fresh water outlets onforedeck, boat deck, aft deck andfly bridgedeck.
Thefresh watertank is monitored with a stainless steel pressure transducer accurate to 1/16"in fluid level.Levels for all tanks can be read on multiple computers throughout the vessel.
COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM:
This system consists of a 1/3hp compressor with2.5 gallonsreserve tank. The system feeds through awirsbotube to multiple outlets in the engine room and alsothethe horn and whistle.
ENGINE ROOM AIR INTAKE & EXHAUST SYSTEMS
Two(2) 5,000 CFM DeltaT fans....one port and one starboard. One is driven by a frequency drive to maintain proper air pressure for the machinery.
STEERING SYSTEM, BOW & STERN THRUSTER, FIREEXTINQUISHINGSYSTEM
STEERING SYSTEM:
The steering system is an oversized standard hydraulic system with dual pumps anddualsolenoid valves.Oversized rams turn two (2)6'tallbalance rudders for quiet operation.
BOW & STERN THRUSTER:
One (1) 75 hp bow thruster and one (1) 75 hp stern thruster by Key Power.Controls in the wheelhouse, flybridge, and on the handheld remote.
FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM:
Stat X aerosol system
Custom design with solenoid operation
Custom stand-alone PLC control monitors .....2 different zones for heat buildup.Variableset-pointsallowformore time to deal with a fire beforeyou dischargeyour bottles.
LAZARETTE & SOUND CONTROL
LAZARETTE:
The lazarette is aft of the engine room and can be accessed via the engine room or a Pacific Coast Marinewater tightdoor to the aft swim platform. This is the most used door on the boat when the boat is at dock and allows easy access to the engine room for heavy materials. The lazarette encompasses a Sea Recovery Water Maker, Glendenning Cable Master System, a huge stainless steel toolbox&tools, and storage space.
SOUND CONTROL:
SoundDown vibration pads on all equipmentincludingmain engines,SoundDownlead/fiberglass panels installed on every engine room wall and overhead.
Engine room surfaces are all painted and then coated with Mascoatantisweatingcompound followed by Delta T sound damping compound.
Sounddownsheet lead is laid under the carpet in the salon. You can barely make out the engines running in the pilot house!
